Abstract:
Using the manmachine interactive definition of meteorological indexes, a universal service system of common weather indexes in Tibet is devised. The input meteorological data, including numerical weather prediction, weather reality data, forecast products, station number, longitude, latitude, and time information, can be defined and read in a unified user interface. The corresponding data put into the formula in the form of the number of floating points to complete the calculation of meteorological indices. The data are stored interactively with universal MICPAS format, and weather indexes and service production are administrated under a uniform platform. Weather forecasting and service staff can provide new weather index service without programming.
